Who Am I?

Since childhood, we are often taught that to be accepted by others, we must tame our natural selves. We learn to become someone easy to handle—in love, friendship, work, society, and even within our own families. A convenient self. A "good girl" or "good boy." Nice, agreeable, and convenient people. Step by step, our natural selves retreat so deeply that they become hard to find. We might even forget what they looked like or that they ever existed. But the natural self may fade, it never disappears. It waits, patiently, until you become curious enough to seek it out again.

So, Who Are You?

We present an international group show that offers a safe and creative space to reveal your true self and witness the true selves of others.

Who Are You is an exhibition of self-portraits, inviting you to create them in any form or medium.

Do you know the real you? Do you see yourself as you truly are? Do you have the courage to share your most authentic, natural self with others?

From the event

The exhibition took place in a soulful and vibrant warehouse in Hackney Wick. This large space, shared by artists from around the world, is filled with love and acceptance. It is a safe haven for self-expression, and its doors are open to anyone ready to be sincere.

Over three days, the artists not only showcased their exclusive self-portraits but also led art workshops. Even those who had never considered themselves artists discovered the artist within them by the end of the exhibition. Simple art techniques and profound art therapy sessions helped participants reconnect with their natural selves and awaken their creative force.

A key highlight of the exhibition was Elena Timokhina’s literary performance, which enriched the atmosphere and deeply resonated with the audience, allowing them to connect more profoundly with the artists’ messages.
